Re: Did You Know??
@alen: i don't think hunt rhymes with month. there's an "h" sound at the end of the word month which is not noticeable in the pronunciation of hunt.
what you think?

Re: Did You Know??
@cam:
well, sprity posted the trivia - No word in the English language rhymes with "month".
and alenn said that hunt rhymes with month, and i believe hunt does not rhyme with month bcoz there's an "h" sound at the end of the word month which is not noticeable in the pronunciation of hunt.
get it cam?

Re: Did You Know??
A person can live without food for about a month, but only about a week without water.
If the amount of water in your body is reduced by just 1%, you'll feel thirsty.
If it's reduced by 10%, you'll die.

It was the Romans who made the first popsicle. They took some ice and added flavour to it and then licked it. What a great idea! Yummy !

If the entire population of earth was reduced to exactly 100 people, 51% would be female, 49% male; 50% of the world's currency would be held by 6 people, one person would be nearly dead, one nearly born.

Re: Did You Know??
A ten year old mattress weighs double what it did when it was new, because of the -ahem- debris which is absorbed through the years. That debris includes dust mites (their droppings and their decaying bodies), mold, millions of dead skin cells, dandruff, animal and human hair, secretions, excretions, lint, pollen, dust, soil, sand and a lot of perspiration, of which the average person loses a quart per day. Good night!

Why wedding ring should be put on the fourth finger ??
Why wedding ring should be put on the fourth finger ??
Pls follow the steps below, really God make this a miracle( this is from a chinese excerpt)
1. Firstly, show your palm, center finger bend and put together back to back (palm to palm)
2. Secondly, the rest 4 fingers tips to tips
3. Games begin, follow the below arrangement, 5 fingers paired but only 1 pair can split
4.
Try to open your thumb, the thumb represents parents. it can be opened
because all human do go thru sickness or old age and die. and of which
our parents will leave us one day
5. Close your thumb back to its
original position, then open up your second finger. the finger
represents brothers and sisters. they do have their own family, which
is true, they will leave us too
6. Now close your second finger,
open up your little finger. this represents your children. Sooner or
later they too will leave us for they have got their own life to live
with
7. Nevertheless, close your little finger, try to open up your
fourth finger which we put our wedding ring. you will be surprised to
find out that it cannot be opened at all. Because it represents husband
and wife, this whole life you will be attached to each other
Real love will stick together ever and forever
Thumb represents parents
Second finger represents brothers & sisters
Center finger represents own self
Fourth finger represents your partner
Last finger represents your children
Have a Nice Day
