THE CLASSROOM
Here's where you can learn the several languages of the Indian sub-continent
All the forrumers have gained admission and can ask any question regarding these languages.
Our teachers are:
Hindi teacher - Sprity and Jeesan
Bengali teacher - Jeesan
Tamil teacher - Sprity
Forrumers willing to teach Telegu, Punjabi and Urdu are invited.
Assistance can be provided for Punjabi and Urdu by Jeesan but he is not willing to take the title of "teacher" for these two languages.
Classes start right now and are open 24X7, so let's learn together

Re: THE CLASSROOM
Ya it has 12 months.... but it is not divided according to seasons...
Using the tamil months only we decide our astrological signs and we keep names according to them.

Re: THE CLASSROOM
As yesterday was the Bengali New Year, I thought of shraing this:
Happy New Year: SHUBHO NOBOBORSHO
The Pohela Boishakh celebrations we have here are one of the most colourful where every Bengali, regardless of religion or caste, take part in! Unlike the English Gregorian Calender, the days in the Bengali Calendar begins on sunrise rathar than midnight, so our celebrations began early in the morning. The whole day we celebrated traditional Bengali culture, the music, dance, food, gifts, attires, carnivals with the bengali rides chorki & nagordola (a smaller, wooden, hand operated, but way faster version of Ferris Wheel)...it was just great ...here's the Bengali Calendar, divided according to the six seasons distinctive to our region:
Boishakh - April-May
Joishtho - May-June
Season: Grishmo (Summer)
Ashar - June-July
Srabon - July-August
Season: Borsha (Monsoon)
Bhadro - August-September
Ashshin - September-October
Season - Shorot (Autumn)
Kartik - October-November
Ograhayon - November-December
Season - Hemonto (Dry)
Poush - December-January
Magh - January-February
Season - Sheeth (Winter)
Falgun - February-March
Choitro - March-April
Season - Boshonto (Spring)
