pamahiin..its very weird because we have lots of pamahiin..its not
allowed to cut nails at night,not allowed to fit wedding gown,not
allowed to swipe the floor at night etc..

what's the english of pamahiin?it is beliefs... right?

in tamilnadu also u can see these beliefs.....

Mostly in villages.....they wont cut nails at night,sweeping the floors after night,
stiching torn clothes at night......

haha SIARGAO is another island Benj.. Dinagat Island ung samen. maybe 2hrs from city un. never been in Siargao kc super maalon Tlga. surfing capital nga dba haha!! dun ung namatay ung mayor ng siargao kc tumaob ata ung lantsa na sinasakyan nila..

ung ginamos, parang bagoong din un benj! pero i dun eat ginamos kc nangangati labi ku hahaha!

a peruvian friend once commented that filipinos are really weird
since many ppl here eat worms, cockroaches and frogs...

we also eat purple egg (salted egg)...i think this tastes yummy

yeah, i think itlog maalat is unique to filipinos. i believe they bury the eggs and surround it with salt or something that's why it's so salty. ???
