This is Seattle, Washington, a coastal port city and the largest city in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.

At the north central of Seattle, you will find Green Lake. This is where the 11 teams will start their journey in a race around the world.

Flo & Zach. Friends and the winners of Season 3.

Kelly & Jon. 2nd Placers of Season 4.

Ann & Diane. The dancing mums, they finished 4th in TARA 2.

Derek & Drew. Twins/Models from season 3. They finished 4th.

Daichi & Sawaka. Siblings from TARA 2.

BJ & Tyler. The winners of Season 9.

Marc & Rovilson. 3rd Placers from TARA 2.

Which one of these teams will the right combination of brains, brawn and teamwork to win the one million dollars?

These are the questions waiting to be answered as we get ready to begin The Amazing Race.

You are now re-embarking on a race around the world. As you travel, you will be encountering various tasks that will test you physically and mentally as well. It will also test how well you work as a team. There are 12 legs in this Race. At the end of each leg, there is a PitStop. Eight of these PitStops are elimination points, so if you're last, you will be eliminated.

When I say go, you will run up to your bags, read the clue on top of the luggage you brought with you, choose one of the marked cars in the parking lot and drive to the airport. From there, the rest is up to you.

The first team to cross the Finish Line will win the one million dollars!!
