i think its possible because before the show starts the producers and the others know already the results of the voting... they can always tell the judges who won before hand...

It was not a surprise to me since my source is reliable. David Archuleta's vote declined in the last phase of the competition. David Archuleta fans are youngsters and they can't just connect to the theme and guests the show had. The theme was about old music and the guests were not for younger generation.
