Straight from Cam's mind. What is blogging anyway?

From start I am not sure what blogging really is about. There are so many definition about blogging.

Is it, journal? Diary? News? Annoucement? Report? Update? Message? and the list goes on.

What is the purpose of blogging? There are so many definitions, but I'm going to stick with Alenn aka my Cute boy definition.

This is the first time I'm really blogging if that what is it. This section has been quiet nowadays. Maybe due to the ongoing TARA 3 started most forummers has been concentrating on AXN.

At this moment, we only read blog from our Chieftan JonLover who is actively updated his blog about TARA 3, maybe he imagine he is the reporter for TARA hehe, and I can't comments on his blog .....really sneaky indeed.

Well I am not going to write as at Diary style like what Alan Aquaman is doing. I think he has forgotten that he has a blog here...hahaha is that consider sneaky too?

Before I forgot, let me mentioned about my little rascal before he get jealous if I didnt mentioned him here.

Well Nazrin, you are the sneakiest, how could you request your blog to be deleted.

Wow! It has been 2-3 days I haven’t been contributed anything to this pathetic 'TRIAL' blog of mine. I am still in the process of understanding what blogging really is. Why on my way of finding out the true meaning of blogging. I was having a mental blocked these passed few days. These super headache that I had these pass 2 days has been making my brain lost control. Hopefully my brain didn’t lost somewhere.

Last Monday, gosh, what a day, I was tooooo concentrated on my sleepiness the whole day my eyelids were going down lower and lower and I think need a matchstick to make it open. I am less productive but still manage to do some work and ‘ehem’ a little bit of forumming. But hey, if in the office, work comes first no matter how tempting for me to post something, that has to wait. But for the recent online game, errrrr….wahahahaha I refused to make comment.




So when I was about to logout, Zarrell login and teased me about me flooding his profiles. He said I am a bad person.



Oh boy that made my logging out process more dramatic…LOL. Don’t asked me what was all about. I just want to let things be as mystery as possible. Only few of us know the mystery right guys? Sorry Zarrell for making you feeling miserable bro….you did that to me too…LOL so are the rest who involved in this which I dont wish to name them…grrrrrrrrrrrr, I hate you guys.

After I logged out, as usual my colleague and I walked passed the Central Library and I have the saddessssssssssssssst moment of my life. There is a Formula One fever going on here in Singapore right now and they are promoting the sports and one of the location was near my office uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and it is 1 day only. How could I’ve missed it? I almost cry me a river when I found out on the way to the bus station. I saw a real size Redbull Racing Formula One car and also a simulator nearby. I should have at least snapped a pic or 2 out of it, but the time was against me, need to catch the bus and get back home asap to prepare for something to break my fast.

Opsie! I hope I didn’t suffer from nervous breakdown…..hehe….

Before I end this post, another thing made me wonder about Jon's post.

It has been a long week for me, with the Hari Raya (Eid Mubarak) is on the way. I have been busy with the preparation and errrmmm, spending my money, uhuk uhuk!!

You guys must be wondering, why I didnt reply to any of your comments here. That is because I'm saving it for the next entry of my blog. Actually you guys have been giving me these ideas to write all those things...LOL , and you guys are partially contributing to this blog of mine, so give yourself an applause.





My work nowadays has been very flexible, that's why I have all these free time posting comments in this forum, hihihi, shhhhh....

First of all I would like to thank Alan, Farah, Jon, Ahdeng, Zarrell to name a few and the rest like benj and sprity for posting here at this thread or what you call BLOG of mine. And also the rest who unintentionally giving me some ideas to write here. Even though you don't know that this pathetic blog of mine existed. That give me an idea the title of my Blog. If Jon's blog is an Idiot Box (which I have no idea why he call it an idiot, but I think maybe he is....hahah sorry joking). I decided to name mine CAM's PATHETIC BLOG...how's that? Now I am ready to blog, are you ready? Let's get the things going!!!




Hey, Selamat Hari Raya (Eid Mubarak – in Arabic) to all my muslim readers. To non-muslims, Selamat Hari Raya to you too, or selamat collection of $$$, most probably to Alan because he has been visiting all his muslim friends house, eating their delicacies and getting all those $$$. Arghhh how painful I felt, I hope I can go back to those years where I get all the $$$.....

Before I get started, let me tell you that Hari Raya here likely means celebration day or festival. After 1 month of fasting, therefore we are celebrating this happy day to congratulate ourselves that we have successfully passed the test given by The Almighty. In other definitions Eid Mubarak also means greetings said among Muslims to congratulate each other on holidays. It literally means, "Blessed Festival!" The appropriate answer is, "Allah yubarak feek!" (May Allah bless it for you also!).




During fasting month, it has been busy busy busy time towards the end of Ramadhan. You know the money spending, baking, shopping, preparation, spring cleaning (more like summer cleaning, it was soooooo damn hot) and the most important of all cooking. Oh yeah, when you are an adult, you will know the “real” feeling of celebrating eid is “TIRING”...heheh kidding of course it means happiness.....hmmmm.....to the littluns.




During the first phase of preparation, we need to make sure that we have at least 6 types of cookies or delicacies ready before the celebrations. I have this passion in baking of cookies or cakes so I make sure I baked some before buying any. When I’m baking, I feel like I’m a witch (a good and cool witch like the series The Charmed…LOL). It is like a magic that I could transform things into various shapes and sizes by mixing a few ingredients together (or magic portions if I'm a witch). Let me give you a few examples.

Still in the topic of the Hari Raya. I repeat, it is a celebration, mostly for children. OK forget about my ChocCup and ChocChip cookies, some of you might drooled just by looking at it. Try tasting it if you are a chocolate lover. It taste better than Famous Amos. Don’t believe it? Ask my 3 regulars customers, the 3 mosquitoes (from left: Izzy, Zany & Eiman).


You guys must be wondering why I call them mosquitoes instead of musketeers. Well obviously they are not French...hahaha and they are quite irritating and annoying at some point. However, I love them anyway.... My nieces are very shy, so I dont intend to post their pics. Respect their privacy lah....

My Malaysian brother and his family make it a habit to come to Singapore to celebrate with our parents before they continue their visit to other relatives from his wife side.

1st day of Hari Raya was a pleasant one, not as busy as the year before, but we have our regular visitors, who else if not our relatives from Johor and Singapore. When they came, it brings lights to my house, very cheerie with their jokes and laughter make me forgot how much $$ has been given away ,…. Hmmmm to think of it, maybe my humor is hereditary. Each year of their visit, we never missed to teased each other even some of them are 50 years old. Even our 3 mosquitoes have their very own natural born humor. Well it is a tiring day after all but with a very pleasant memory. There is someone I really really really missed the most . Well, I can’t wait for the 2nd day of hari raya where it is my turn to visit my uncle in Pontian, Johor…yippee!! The best thing is, I don’t have to drive….double yippee!!

2nd day of Hari Raya.
We went to Johor using 2nd link from Tuas to Gelang Patah highway. No jam and very clear traffic and I definitely refuse to drive, since at the moment I temporarily don’t own a car .

Just enjoying the scenery and greenery. Looking at the Palms and pineapples plantation. I have no idea who is the owner of these plantation, I just snapped it, hopefully the owner will not sue me...hehehe...


Woohooo...Pineapples!!!! OK just its thorny leaves....but still sexy...

It was really an extremely hot day. Phew!!! Just like in the sauna’s, I feel like I was in a 180deg Celsius oven, now I know how my cookies feel. Since this Hari Raya visit, we are in our glamourous clothing, we just sit in the house talking with our Auntie and Uncle while the 3 mosquitoes playing outside the house chasing after the chicken.

Hmmm strange, the place use to have lotsa chicken, but whenever our 3 mosquitoes came, all the chicken have been disappear. Did my uncle has magic power or something? Well it is a good exposure for the 3 mosquitoes to get acquaintance with the live chicken since the only chicken they know here is Kentucky Fried Chicken drumstick…LOL. Maybe next time round when I not in my glamourous clothing, I will take a snapshot of our Palm Plantation and chicken farm. It’s a farm place to hang around and it is a bird flu free…hehehe

This is my Uncle's kampong house. Don't jugde the book by its cover. He is actually very (ehemmm)...hehe. This house has its own history. My cousins and my elder bro and sissy were born in this house. My uncle just retained the front part of the house. The back part of the house has been revamped into 2 storey house. This was where I had my "boot camp" every school holiday during my childhood years. Before that there were rubber trees and other exotic fruits tree around the house. Now it seems like everything were gone.



Their "backyard'...hehehe....used to have durians, rambutans, mangosteen, ciku trees .
I remember there were also a small pond here and a toilet. For safety reason now all toilets are built inside the house....LOL.



If you are reading this, sorry to bore you with all these grandmother stories. I really cannot help it. It got its own sentimental value....

I still don't know what is the purpose of bogging??

I love that house. That has been my holiday "resort" since my childhood years. I became "mini Lara Croft" there, you know the lady shooting outside the car ...LOL. The house has been our family history after the World War II, built by my late grandfather. That is why my youngest uncle still maintained the front part of the wooden house, it is not that he can't afford to built new house using bricks or cement, but there is sentimental value about the house. Only the front portion was built in wood, the back portion of the house are all in cement. My elder brother and sisters were born there and almost all of my cousins were born there, except 1-2 of us who were born in Singapore, like me.

Now I am still thinking should I update or not. LOL. Hari Raya will be gone soon. My heart were too mellow to write anything after my last post. Getting more and more sensitives and emo at the same time.
