On December 15, Mediacorp mentioned in its free-circulating-paper, Today, that Singapore Idol Season 3 is one of the new programmes that viewers can look out for in the coming year (2009). The third instalment comes three years after the previous and during this break, Mediacorp has produced a similar talentshow format, Live The Dream.
