Life Is Too Short ...

Life, it seems has its good times and its bad times.

In good times, life is great and you wish that everyday was as happy as this moment in time.

But, when it's bad, you pray and wish away the pain, and you don't know how you're going to get through the day.

Once again I have been reminded of the realization that life is too short, and you never know when it is going to end.

Many live by a motto which is one of the biggest cliches ... but a great one -
Live each day the best way you know how, as if it were your last. Try
to be the best you can in everything you do. And always tell those
around how much they mean to you.

I'm writing this Blog today because life is, indeed, too short, too precious. You
never know what life will bring you today. You don't know what life
will be like tomorrow.

Some people sail through life, while others struggle with life. No matter what end
of the spectrum you lie on, life is too short to worry about the petty
stuff ... like Yahoo drama.

Last night in my travels through Blogland I came across a blog that
caught my attention ... it spoke about the value of life ... and there
was a paragraph that I would like to borrow as it speaks volumes
and is exactly on point with my thoughts these past few days ...

"Life is not a game we can decide on whether or not we want to
play and with whom, it is real. It is not something to be taken out of
the box and used for a while then replaced and put back on the
shelf when we are tired of it. It is there for the long haul. It is full
of real emotions, real people and real lives. Chose those people
you allow in your life wisely, be careful how you handle their
emotions and be sure to only speak to them in truths, for you never
know when it may be too late to say something you have not or take
back something you have."

Today I encourage you to focus on the love in your life, friendships that should be cherished and your families ...

Life is too short ... cherish today and all it holds for you.

Worth a read!!

When someone is doing something or about to do something,
in a way I dont want it to be done - and i m not able to accept it - i become angry.
When someone is doing something or about to do something, in a way I dont want it to be done - and i m able to accept it - i remain tolerant.

When someone is having something or someone is able to produce the results which i m not able to produce - and I m not able to accept it - I become jealous.
When someone is having something or someone is able to produce the results which i m not able to produce - and i m able to accept it - i get inspired.

When i m encountering uncertainty or is about to encounter uncertainty, which i m not sure how i m going to handle - and i m not able to accept it - it causes fear in me.
When i m encountering uncertainty or is about to encounter uncertainty, which i m not sure how i m going to handle - and i m able to accept it - i feel adventurous about it.

When someone has done something that has emotionally hurt me - and i m not able to accept it - it develops hatred in me.

When someone is present in my thoughts, but is not physically present - and i m not able to accept it - i say i m missing u.

Thus, Emotional Equation
becomes:

Something + acceptance = positive emotion
Something + non-acceptance = negative emotion

So, it is not something or someone who is making me feel positive or negative, but its my acceptance or
non-acceptance of something or someone, which impacts things.
