Hello! I'm Katharine McPhee,back again for Week 2 of World Idol. I'm so blessed to have a second chance. *sob* I thought I would be the first contestant to be booted out in WI2 but fortunately,because of God,I'm still here to perform at this big stage in front of the big crowd! I will be doing better this time,because of course I don't want to be in the bottom 3 again. So here is my confession now.

My favorite year in my whooole existence here on earth was in 2007! 2007 was indeed a great year. It was the year where I graduated in Grade School and I'm so glad I made it. I know I made my parents proud and happy that I finished Grade School and they were even happier to know that I was one of the 3 students who got the scholarship grant! If you have watched EPISODE 11 of TARA 2,where Adrian and Collin got the Fast Forward, Adrian was jumping so high and shouting at the top of his lungs because of gaiety and enjoyment..I did the same thing when I knew I was a scholar!! Another thing that happened in this year was my grandmother survived from ovarian cancer. The first time I saw my father crying so hard was when he knew that my grandma has cancer. He did not go to work because he can not concentrate. My grandma remained strong and did not show any cowardly act. Instead,she never fails to pray many times a day for her safety. So there,her prayers were answered. My dad became happy again and we offered a Thanksgiving Mass for her! Very Happy

The song I will perform today is BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY by Stacy Ferguson(FERGIE) because before I cried so hard because I have to transfer school and I don't want to leave my Grade School friends but you know,I am in High School now and I'm already a "Big Girl" and Big Girls Don't Cry. Very Happy

CONFESSIONAL
Hello, I'm Carly Smithson, and I'm so happy that I'm still in this contest. For this week, I chose the song, "Overjoyed" because that is one of my favorites. I know that it was a hit back in 1970s by Stevie Wonder, but here in the Philippines, it became a hit in 2003 by Paolo Santos, a budding musician then, who sings live with his guitar. He blossomed into a famous artist in 2003, when he started the acoustic genre in the music scene. And at that year, I remembered that it was sung to me by a special friend, on my surprise birthday party.

In my party, I was really happy and overjoyed that all my close friends were there!! I was really (literally) surprised that I cried like a baby! A big thanks to my family, especially to my mom who made it all happen. She contacted all my friends, and they also helped in contacting all my long lost friends way back. My 23rd birthday (2003) was really an unforgettable experience in my life, and this song would really describe my exhilirating feeling that night.

By the way, the video below depicts on how I would sing the song...a video from Carol Vegas, whoever she is..thanks for the vid and keep rockin'! We have tattoos on the same arm!

My favourite year in my existence here on Earth is 2 June 1983 because that is the day when I see's the world..Oh, If I can back to the future *sigh / dreaming*,,

This night, I will sing Let It Be by The Beatles, this song was released in March 1970 as a single..

The inspiration of this song was when McCartney,had a dream about his mother during tense period surrounding the Getback/Let It Be sessions.

I choose Let It Be because this song give me so much inspiration to continue my life here on Earth.

My favorite year of my life would definitely be the year that I was born which is 1986. I am singing "The Birthday Song" by Corrinne May. I've chosen this song because tomorrow is my birthday Very Happy

Tonight I am going to sing “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi! I really love this song because every time me and my college friends hang-out, we never failed to sing this song in the videoke! This song reminds me of our college days. Our struggles, our survival, our success, and our life as a young adult.

Of course, my favorite year in my life goes with this song. I was born on 23rd of November, 1983. So obviously, my favorite number is 23. By the year 2006, I turned 23… I felt different! I felt that this is my year! And I was right! Lord granted my wishes! I graduated in that year! And to add to my delight, I also passed the Board Exams!! Everything seemed so perfect! And I got my first job right after I passed my exam! Awesome! Those things happened to my life with my best college friends beside me! Rock on!

Good evening world, This is Chris Richardson and I am back for this week.

I actually have 3 favorite years in my life but I would consider 1987, the year of my birth as my top favorite. It is because of the simple reason that life has started for me in this year. I was lucky enough to experience good things all through out the 21 years of my life. I have earned good memories, bagged some achievements and valued a lot of lessons. . .and it all started on the the day I was born.

Tonight Im gonna sing Lean On Me... It was a popular song during the year 1987 sang by Club Nouveau. I so love this song and I chose it because it resembles the reason of my existence.... that is to reach out for others, offer them a hand or two, lift a spirit, encourage, and assure them that they can actually lean on me during their down moments. . . Okay, i choose 1992 as my favourite year.. Well obviously, it's because I was born in 1992.. and my choice of song for this week, I would to dedicate it to my late grandmother.. She has become part of life and she even named me.. But sadly, she died 2 years after my birth.. and I didn't get to spend much time with her.. and she didn't get to see me grow up.. but grandma, if you're listening, this is for you..
