1 box tacos (12 pcs)
---slowly fry each side before serving
sauce:
1/4 kl ground beef
tomato sauce (1 can)
garlic/onions/peppercorns (powderized)
cooking oil
hotdog
cheese (grated): quickmelt or eden
fresh cabbage (strips)
fresh tomatoes
--- saute garlic, onions, peppercorns with oil.
as soon as onion starts getting brownish
color, mix in hotdog and beef. pour in
tomato sauce. boil for 10 minutes
--- fill in taco shells with sauce, fresh
cabbage and top with cheese and tomatoes.

FILIPINO CHICKEN AFRITADA
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound chicken
1 pound pork -- fat removed
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 clove garlic -- minced
1/4 cup onion -- diced
1 stalk celery -- sliced
1/4 head cabbage -- chopped
1 each carrot -- peeled and chopped
8 ounces vermicelli
Accent seasoning mix -- to taste
salt and pepper -- to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Boil the chicken and pork in small amount of
water. Cook till done. Remove chicken from bones and cut into 1/2-inch
cubes. Cut pork into 1/2-inch cubes. Save broth meat was cooked in.
Saute garlic and onion in butter till onion is tender. Add meats to
pan. Add some broth and Accent and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a
simmer and add carrots. Cook for 5 minutes then add celery and cabbage.
Cook for 5 minutes more or until vegetables are tender. Boil water for
the vermicelli. Cook according to package directions then add to
mixture in pan. Add more broth to mixture if necessary and cook until
heated through. Adjust seasonings to taste. Other noodles may be used
in place of the vermicelli as long as it is thin.

7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180℃ on the middle shelf -15 to 20 minutes for small cakes , 40 minute for large cakes.
8. Place cupcakes on cooling rack to cool after baking.

Bajji is the simplest snack we can make to have in the evenings.During winter season we really want something hot in the evening.
Ingredients for Batter
1. Besan Flour /Kadalamavu - 1 cup
2. salt as need
3. Little appa soda if you have (sodium bicorbonate) and color powder.If you don't have color powder add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
4. oil
Preparation of batter
1. Mix all the ingredients together well by adding little water so that it will be in batter consistency
Choose any one from the list
Bread
Plaintain(raw banana)
Onion
Potatoes
Chilli
Cauliflower
Now follow the simple step to make the bajji.
Bread Bajji
Take bread slice.cut diagonally and make four triangles. Dip each in batter and fry in oil

Make thin slices with the grater dip that in batter and fry in oil
Onion Bajji
Take big onion slice into rounds and dip in batter then fry that in oil
Chilli Bajji
Take long green chilli on the tail end side cut to split into two portion but at the head end it should be attached and the stem should be there.Dip this in batter and fry in oil.
Potatoes Bajji
Slice the potatoes diagonally very thin (like potato chips).Dip it and fry in oil
Cauliflower Bajji
Boil water and put the cauliflower florets ,little salt and cook it. Then put that in paper napkin and take out all the water then dip each florets in bajji batter and fry well.

Roti Prata
Ingredients
1 kg plain flour, sifted in a large bowl
16 oz (2 cups) water
80 g ghee (clarified butter)
3 tbsp sugar
2 - 3 tbsp salt
Method
Mix water, sugar and salt. Add 40g ghee, stir and add liquid mixture to the flour and knead till dough is soft, smooth and firm. Rest 20 minutes, shape 50g of dough into a ball, coat with ghee to prevent sticking. Repeat with remaining dough and stack the balls into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap for four hours or more. Put a griddle on medium heat. Flatten each piece of dough on a greased surface by stretching outwards and finally by tossing in the air, till you get a paper-thin dough. Fold sides inwards to form a square, put on hot griddle, folded side down and fry till golden brown. Turn over and fry till browned. Repeat with all the dough. Make the prata fluffy by clapping each one between your hands. Serve with meat curry or with a sprinkling of sugar.

Carrot Halwa
Ingredients for carrot halwa:
Carrot - 1 kg
Condensed milk- 1 tin
Sugar- 250
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Cashewnuts, badam, raisins- To decorate
Preparation of carrot halwa :
Grate carrot, pressure cook with 1 cup water and 100g sugar till three whistles. Remove from fire and allow it to cool. Stirr in condensed milk and add remaining sugar. Blend in a mixie till the mixture becomes creamy. Transfer the mixture to a thick bottomed pan and keep stirring in low fire till it thickens. Add ghee and stir again till it gets a semisolid consistency.Reomove from fire and garnish with chopped cashewnuts, badam, and raisins. It is better to use a teflon coated pan for thickening the mixture.
