Yeah, it was really tough!

Geoff and Tisha raced for 30 hours...while Pailin and Natalie raced for 48 hours!

Poor Natalie & Pailin.. I have so many favourites this season.. hehe..

Ida & Tania, Henry & Bernie, Natalie & Pailin, Ad & Fuzzy, Mai & Oliver argh..!

I used to like Geoff & Tisha.. but after geoff said Bernie is so old.. etc etc.. I was like.. that's rude..

I have seen the first 3 gaps of the show a I don't know why I am not liking it. Personally, I don't like the paintball challenge since I see it as a sadistic act of the production to make the show appears like the toughest race ever. It is not interesting for me since as a viewer, I don't appreciate the pain the racers have gotten because that is what you expect from a paintball. I don't find the idea great.

I finally caught a re-run of Ep 2. It was freakin crazy! It's quite late now, so i'll keep it short. Yeah, the order got completely flipped from Ep 1, and that is the beauty of TARA. Vince & I fought hard to the end, and I think from here onwards we decided not to stay under the radar anymore and start being very competitive - while still having a blast of a time of course. I think the charity part of the race was one of the most meaningful parts; I mean, I signed up for TARA because I knew a chartiable portion would be part of the race. Meeting all the kids was awesome. We really wanted to stay longer. At that point, we knew we weren't going to be first, so to us, it didn't matter whether we were 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th. So Vince & I spent quite a long time playing wih the orphans. We ended up at 3rd, and we were so shocked!

Next ep is going to be crazy. Just one final word - I think viewers don't know exactly how hot it was in HCMC and Cai Be. It was crazy, and it made some racers crazy, but it wasn't their fault. It was really the sun.

Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this crazy 48-hour leg race. To next Thurs!!!!

Sam when kicked out from the bus in the middle of the road has this to say: "We were very panicky at that point, and we could only take a bus to Cai Be - no other transport. But we were dropped off at a highway!

Thankfully, we managed to find a bus driver, and i convinced him to drive us to Cai Be even though that was not his route! Of course, we had to pay him A LOT OF MONEY to do that. Otherwise, I think at that point, we would have needed to walk 6 km to Cai Be.... and we didn't have a map... Thank God!"


The reason why they kicked out:

"the reason for us being kicked out of the bus was simple - the bus driver simply refused to bring us there!! Even though we had paid up!! And because the clue said "travel by bus", we couldn't walk to Cai Be, or take a taxi even if we wanted to!

thankfully, another public bus pulled up nearby, I ran over, and convinced the driver to bring us to Cai Be, even though he was actually going to another place... after offering a lot of money. He kicked some passengers out, and brought us there!! This being the Amazing Race, we really had to be creative to solve our problems! no point having meltdowns!"

"The lack of sleep and food as well as the extreme heat from the sun caused many people to breakdown... it was difficult to stay focused and positive... luckily Sam and I were able to laugh at all our crazy situations... especially when we got kicked out of our bus before even getting to Cai Be... Aiya !!!

The best part was see the kids at the orphanage... with our money we bought a variety of gifts from milk powder, rice, vcd players and cartoons..etc... we wanted to maximize our cash... and even looked for the best value in all the products we bought... We stayed quite a long time b/c we felt that spending some time playing with the children who have don't often have visitors was more important to us than our placement. We visited multiple floors and played with the children ( like what you saw on TV... haha) I lifted one boy and swung him around,,,, then all the other children queued up to for a turn too hahaha.... after that we went to another level where all the infants and babies were... and we held and played with some of the babies that were awake...

It was a touching experience and we hope that all the things that we bought would be useful to the orphanage ... Thanks for all your support!!!"

I knew from the start there is a reason for that. It is just so sad people jump into conclusion and accuse the person of any wrongdoing.

This is what I don't like about the editing. They tend to overlook their social responsibility. Another example of this is by including the footage showing Ida and Tania saying Geoff is an evil spiderman without showing what made the Malaysians thought Geoff was a black spidey. In fact, that footage will not affect the storyline if it is not included.

AXN is forgetting this social responsiblity. And for me this makes the editing very poor.

Just like what happenned to Ann and Diane last season. They badmouthing the Moms for being sneaky while we didnt see any from it. AXN were making the moms the villain....

Cam, that was an analogy. I was establishing my opinion that nothing is bad in blowing a whistle.

That is actually my issue with AXN. They are trying very hard to market the show in the expense of the racers. I believe that they don't care whether they tarnish their names as long as AXN gain from the bad publicity.

EVERYONE in the show is nice..according to Henry and Ida. The editing is to be blamed.

So, don't be freaked out by Geoff. I am sure he is a very very charming and protective person. Did you hear what he said about not letting his girlfriend being shot by others ? Ohhh..that's so gentleman
