Episode 6 of TARA 3 -Spoilers and Speculations

This is what I observed in all the previews of TARA 3: What you see is what you get!

So I guess, that Bernie's classic reaction is just an attempt to disturb the minds of the viewers. The catch is AXN is just trying to stir our curiosity. This means, there is no other footage that seems controversial. Besides, we have seen Bernie many times overreacting to a certain things with exxagerated facial expressions. So I guess, that handbag is not a given spoiler.

Just my thought.

My concern is not the handbag since we know that is where the clue is contained. My concern is these papers:



Does this have to do something with additional task or just for brochure from the sponsors of the race?

These are the shots of Ida/Tania, Sam/Vince and AD/Fuzzie at King's Park Rugby Field.

Though no one of us knows how to determine the time these were takens, we can safely say these were taken at mid afternoon of let's say 2 May 2008.

Remember that Allan was at Stanley Pier at around 7-8pm shooting his spiels.

This gives me the idea that this is the first task the racers have to take from the Hong Kong Airport.

So this is my take:

1. From Taipei, Fly to Hong Kong

2. From Hong Kong Airport, teams take a ferry to Kowloon

3. In Kowloon, find King's Park for an extra task - play with the Hong Kong Rugby Team and make a goal to get the next clue.

4. Detour - Search hundred of bags in Ladies Market for your next clue or Search a Fortune cookie to find the next clue

5. Roadblock at Gold Fish Market

6. Pitstop at Stanley Pier.

Something attention!!
in the step 2 they need to go to HK Island first
Becoz Star Ferry is go through Victoria Harbour
So ......Could the Fortune Cookies(In Central---HK Island) is the first task or something
becoz they need to go to the HK Island first to travel by ferry to Kowloon

About the Detour..................
If the Fortune Cookie is a Detour
That's so strange.......
Detour is usually one physically Task and one about luck or take a long time to do it
But in your guess the both detour are searching things............
And also ..... Finish the Detour but go to MK....(Which is near the first detour)
It is so unfair to the other detour
(From MK To Central then back to MK?? It takes at least 20mins)

I think you will hit the jackpot again Jon comes Thursday night. But I guess roadblock comes first before the detour since we I have read in the spoiler main page Ida and Tania were seen at night in Mongkok at the Ladies market.

Anyway, that's just how I see it. But with your knowledge of the land probably we can speculate a more accurate one.

2nd - Bernie and Henry
3rd - AD and Fuzzie
4th - Geoff and Tisha
5th - Ida and Tania

What can we deduce?

We know Ida and Tania are the ones who still have the time to enjoy the rugby challenge.

HK Airport is New Territory. Mongkok District, Gold Fish Market and King's Park are in Kowloon. Central Market and Stanley Pier are at Hong Kong Islands.

Looking at all your maps and I see Central Market and Stanley Port on the same island. Hong Kong Airport is on another island. Gold Fish Market, Ladies Market, King's Park and Mong Kok District on another island.

Yes so I will say from Hong Kong Airport, they go to:

1. King's Park for the rugby - extra task
2. Detour - Gold Fish Market (Find a Fish) or Ladies Market (Find a bag)
3. Roadblock - Fortune Cookie thingy at Central Market
4. Pitstop - Blake Pier at Stanley

This is a very short leg. It takes around 5-8 hours only!

1. Sam & Vince --> Advantage for them since they're from HK. They know the places, they can even communicate with the locals.

Something I need to say that............

Many body say that The team can speak Chinese will get a lead in HK & Macau
But they didn't know that HK people is seldom use Chinese(Putonghua)
We use Cantonese!! (Many body said Putonghua badly -__-)
So the only team will have the advantage is HK TEAM S/V
Because They are the only team who say Cantonese
AD&Fuzzie & Henry&Burnie can't get any adventage in asking or speaking
their just can get adventage in Chinese Words
(Cantonese & Putonghua is using the same Chin. Words)

Era,...for your info, for most chinese in Malaysia their dialect is Cantonese, so there is no problem for B&H to communicate in HK.....

For Sam and Vince
Well, if Vince is from Canada, most Canadian born chinese are not well-versed in this dialect....but maybe Sam can understand

For AD & Fuzzie
Obviously Fuzzie can't because she is not chinese, for AD let's see if she can converse in Cantonese fluently...or at least she can understand as most Singaporeans could converse in dialects like Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew, Hakka...etc

Well, our living proof is none other than our lovely ahdeng (she is a Singaporean and her dialect is cantonese) and Heartz (he is a Malaysian, he is not fluent in Mandarin but he speaks Cantonese)

Yap, cam is right. I'm a cantonese, but I also understand hokkien, teochew, some hakka too.. I believe Cam understand some of it too.. So, i think, AD may be able to converse in cantonese.. mayb Fuzzie understand some too.. But Hong Konger can speak english too, so I don't think most team will get into problem ba.

Yes, Banzai. It is 15 hours from Taipei to the pitstop but I guess it took them only around 6-8 hours in completing all the tasks in Hong Kong

Sam & Vince first again >.<..

At first I am thinking Vince and Sam are in danger of the first placement but reading it 7 times, i realized they will not have good lead but still they check in first.

It sounds to me that this leg is a NEL and next leg is an EL. The "homecourt advantage" means Vince and Sam coming in first in the mat this leg is kinda "useless" since this is a NEL.

but jon they get Prize which cant be useless....
