Re: TARA 3 Speculations
LET US TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THESE WORDS FROM THE PRODUCER, MR. MICHAEL McKAY. THESE MIGHT BE HAPPENING SOONER OR IF NOT ON SEASON 3:
ONE:
2 days ago, Michael-McKay says: ( http://amazing-race-asia.axn-asia.com/about/producer/index.html#comments )
Thanks milshe, the USA and Asian shows are truly brother and sister but I do not think we would accept a USA based team into the Asian Race for now. Perhaps as part of an All-Star series. We have had applications from former TAR Racers but we are keen to reserve the few places we have each season for Asian based teams.
It would be great if Phil could "drop in" and say hi during TARA. You never know.
TWO:
4 days ago, Michael-McKay says: (http://amazing-race-asia.axn-asia.com/about/producer/page/2/index.html#comments )
Marc_Rov and KENGIE, we'd like to do an All-Stars version one day but feel we probably need another series or two under our belts first.
THREE:
2 weeks ago, Michael-McKay says: ( http://amazing-race-asia.axn-asia.com/about/producer/page/5/index.html#comments )
Amalia_s, thanks for your 2 cents worth, appreciate the suggestion. So TARA3 Racers if you get hit with a joint challenge at the final leg you can blame Amalia and not me

Hi Mr. McKay!
I know you like getting feedbacks from fans so please allow me to share mine. I enjoy watching the tasks that not only require physical prowess, but mental fortitude as well (like the zip line task that requires the person to add up numbers in his head while doing something physical). I love the idea of having a puzzle-type task for the final task of the race. However, seeing as this is a race that tests the relationship/teamwork of the two individuals, it would be great if you can instead make the last task something that would still be puzzle-related but would require the participation of both members of the team instead of being a roadblock (something like the rubik's cube detour where both team members must solve a piece of the puzzle before they can complete it).
Just my two cents, for what it's worth. =)

Re: TARA 3 Speculations
Taking into consideration the comment from McKay, listed third, we have to expect more or a couple of puzzle-type task.
TARA loves to copy previous tasks from TAR. We have seen this fact from the two last seasons. So, it is interesting to note all the puzzle-type tasks used in TAR. From there, we could predict what task they are going to adopt.
Can you help me figure these tasks?

Well, if they do end up doing a couple-puzzle-type task for the final task of Season 3, I'm taking the credit! LOL. Just kidding! =)

I TOOK THIS FROM THE OFFICIAL TARA-AXN FORUM
5 days ago, urcoolness says: (Addressed to McKay)
Hello
I also like to know if you are already in the process of calling the applicants for their interview.
Is it tough again to choose a team/s from the Philippines?I bet hundreds of hopefuls from our country sent their applications that makes the probability of my team to be selected is so...slim. ;(
THEN, McKAY REPLIED:
7 hours ago, Michael-McKay says:
urcoolness, difficult as usual but this year Thailand and India are giving you a run for your money. In fact we've seen increased interest from an number of countries.
Makes our job harder (which we love)and we're pleased with the response.
Special thanks to all of the fans from the Philippines for their usual high standard of applications.

Re: TARA 3 Speculations
I know you have heard it already that Natalie Glebova will be racing for Thailand. Natalie is a Russian who migrated to Canada. She won Miss Universe 2005. She then maried a Thai tennis player and resided in Thailand for a year now.
If you will search Natalie's name at the wikipedia site, there is a mention there of her participation in TARA.

TARA 3 Spotted IN BAGUIO!

http://survivorsucks.yuku.com/topic/30856?page=2
Last month TARA3 was sighted in and around my place (Camp John Hay,
Baguio City, Philippines). This would explain why there were massive
floodlights coming out of the Camp John Hay Manor when there seemed to
be no citywide celebration.

Re: TARA 3 Speculations
I am not believing that spoiler. First and foremost, the filming is not yet started and they are still in the final stage of casting.
I tried contacting some friends in Baguio and none of them can confirm nor deny it. Besides, if the racers are in Hotel Manor in Camp John Hay, AXN will not put spotlight on the area.
Just my two cents. (,)

Re: TARA 3 Speculations
I have posted it HERE about the blog telling something about filming of an Amazing Race in Bangkok, Thailand. The blogger mentioned seeing someone eating exotic foods in Thailand, insects and locusts. That was seen last May 21.
There is a question whether TARA 3 started filming or not.
I am speculating that it started now since Mr. McKay is no longer seen at TARA forum answering questions from the fans. He stopped answering queries almost 2 weeks ago.

This is the host of the Chinese version of the Amazing Race. We talked to them, did an intro. for the show, and found out the contestants were coming in about a half hour. We had to leave but we hoped we would run in to the contestants at the bottom of the mountain.
