Start Line: King Rama I Monument

-10 teams were transported to the monument by tuktuk, Thailand's mode of transportation.
-each team is introduced while riding tuktuk
-opening billboard
-the first clue tells them to go to Khao San Road for an eating challenge
-first to get a taxi is Bernie and Henry followed by Neena and Amit
-Mai and Oliver were next followed by Natalie and Pailin and then Ida and Tania
-Tisha and Geoff were sixth and then A.D. and Fuzzie, William and Isaac, Kapil and Niroo and Vince and Sam

KHAO SAN ROAD - eating challenge

- first to arrive were A.D. and Fuzzie and then Henry and Bernie
- third to arrive were Pailin and Natalie and then Ida and Tania
- fifth to arrive were Oliver and Mai and then William and Isaac
- seventh were Tisha and Geoff and then Neena and Amit
- ninth were Vince and Sam and last were Kapil and Niroo

- first to finish were Henry and Bernie, Pailin and Natalie, Tisha and Geoff, Mai and Oliver, A.D. and Fuzzie, Ida and Tania, Wiliam and Isaac, Neena and Amit, Vince and Sam and last were Kapil and Niro.

CALTEX STATION - wash a double decker bus

- order of arrival were Oliver and Mai, Tisha and Geoff, Pailin and Natalie, William and Isaac, Ida and Tania, A.D. and Fuzzie, Amit and Neena, Bernie and Henry, Kapil and Niroo and last were Vince and Sam

- first to finish the task were Bernie and Henry, then Oliver and Mai, Amit and Neena, Natalie and Pailin, Tisha and Geoff, Ida and Tania, William and Isaac, A.D. and Fuzzie, Kapil and Niroo and Vince and Sam

-three chartered buses took them to the province of Suphan Buri.
-First bus were taken by Bernie and Henry, Amit and Neena and Pailin and Natalie. Oliver and Mai made a mistake by hiring a cab what they realized their mistake so they had to return
-Second bus took by Tisha and Geoff, Ida and Tania and Oliver and Mai
-Third and last bus - William and Isaac, A.D. and Fuzzie, Kapil and Niroo and Vince and Sam

WAT PHAI RUNG WA in the PROVINCE OF SAPHAN BURI -they have to look for the next clue hidden among the hundreds of Buddha statues

-first to find their clue that tells them to go to Chiang Mai were Mai and Oliver followed by Tisha - so they were the only two teams to board the first bus to Chiang Mai
-After 20 minutes second bus headed off to Chiang Mai wit Bernie and Henry only
- after another 20 minutes from the third bus headed to Chiang Mai with the remaining teams. Fourth to find the clue were Amit and Neena, then Pailin and Natalie, William and Isaac, A.D. and Fuzzie, Kapil and Niroo and then Vince and Sam

Hi all. Good afternoon. The AXN forum was down so I txt to a few forumers last nite. Didn't enter this site coz my account was freezed at 1 point, so didn't bother to check last nite.

Glad that my account is ok now.

Watched TARA3 and kinda dissapointed a little bit with the tasks....seemed to be lesser, felt the show was short and the editing was kinda slish slosh....

However, had fun watching the beauty queens. Pailin amazed me most as well as Tisha. These beauties have shown great determination. Poor Pailin kicking her butt to complete the bus cleaning task whereby her partner, Natalie worried of getting wet and dirty...LOL. Poor Pailin. But in the end, Natalie did get wet due to the rain...hahahaha. Natalie was also fun to watch. Her vanity is as high as mount everest.

Tisha is also an interesting individual. Very focus and determined person who will ensure that she looks good at all times. You go girl !

Kinda dissapointed with Ida. I sure hope she did not eat the frogs, scorpions....coz these are prohibited in Islam. Not so sure what religion is Tania....

Luv Henry and Bernie....very very natural people though Bernie is a celebrity..like when she wiped her face after Henry kissed her...hahaha. I would do the same if my brother kisses me.

I have been to Chiangmai, never knew they had such places and the RACE task seem to be fun. Next time I'm there, I would luv to try that. Ida and Tania really rock in that task....they sure drove like F1 driver..hahahaha. I suppose weight plays a great part when a task requires lesser gravity pull so that they can drive fast.

Last night, Mai-Siomai was a little bit skeptical if the the pitstop greeter was really Paula Taylor. Yes, she was indeed Paula. She confirmed this herself.

I know he is asking for ppl to update, the summary of leg 1....since I am lazy to type in such long sentences, i decided to upload the videos instead, let him see for himself.....and thanks to others like mai-siomai and chnbamboo who have been updating the details....as well as entertained him hahaha

However, I am not that supportive seeing tara racers as the greeters. It is already bad that most racers are mactors and then this...greeters from mactors too. Oh please !

Bamboo, it's not number of years. It all depends on your determination as well as your continuous effort in conversing in English with others who will be able to do so. Make friends who speak english so that you can practice, if possible EVERYDAY.

My cousin picked up German language coz she married one and it took her a few months to master the language both orally and writing coz she had to. She was living in Germany when she studied the language and had her husband to practice as she is now residing in Hong Kong

I mean she still has her husband. Husband is still alive....hehehe

yes Chnbamboo, since Singapore is a multi-racial country, in school we speak English and English is our official language.

At home of course we speak our mother tongue.

Sometimes we do have mistakes in our tenses and grammar....

That's the argument Jon. Argument that says the mactors are already famous and they are perceived to be taking this as an advantage to further their career, etc, etc.

What is the objective of TARA ? If there are 1 or 2 mactors, it should be fine but when majority of them are mactors ?

Perhaps, AXN needs to get good rating in order to survive. Perhaps, TARA 1 did not get good rating as it was just introduced. So they injected few mactors in TARA2 and now more mactors in TARA3. I hope they will try a different formulae in TARA4 whereby there will be more ordinary folks and then they can have good benchmarking.

I have nothing against Paula. She's a cute person and has a pleasant personality and also adorable.

If the teams in TARA3 were more of ordinary folks, having mactor greeter would be a bonus. The teams would be thrill to be greeted by famous greeters.

As of now, the teams are majority mactors.....of course the non-mactor teams will be thrilled but with famous participants, famous greeters, what has this show become ?
